Tracey Rompain, CFP®, EPC
Senior Financial Planner
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional, I strive to make a positive difference in the lives of others by helping them plan for financial success and future prosperity.
I started in the financial services industry in 1996, working with a local advisor as his administrator and eventually, his Branch Manager. Through this experience, I learned that I enjoy planning and working with people and it became clear to me that I had found my passion. Shortly thereafter, I became an insurance and mutual fund licensed and continue to take courses to expand my knowledge of our ever-changing industry.
I will provide you and your family with the information you need to make the best financial decisions to reach your personal goals. I am here to help you develop all aspects of your planning needs: buying your first home, education funds for your children, retirement income planning, lifestyle protection or developing a comprehensive estate plan. I can assist you in each area by conducting detailed meetings with open communication which allows me to understand your goals and develop a Personalized Wealth Management Strategy.
Credentials
I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional, so you can be sure I provide expert and professional financial planning services. To earn this designation, I had to complete an approved educational program, pass a rigorous examination and meet stringent experience requirements. I also adhere to a professional Code of Ethics and fulfill annual continuing education requirements to remain aware of current planning strategies and financial trends.
As an Elder Planner Counsellor, I have also been trained in the specific needs, wants and issues concerning today’s elder demographic. I have been taught to address the many aspects of aging that can impact your financial and social circumstances. Knowing the issues and alternatives unique to senior life is an important part of the bigger picture. Recently I have also completed the Certified Executor Advisor (CEA).
Personal Information
I thoroughly enjoy calling Vancouver Island my home and currently reside in Colwood with my husband, Kirt, and daughters, Leann and Faith. In my spare time I enjoy supporting my girls with their school and extra-curricular activities. As such, a lot of my time is spent at the softball fields or the volleyball court. I also enjoy cooking, sewing and the occasional camping getaway with friends.
I believe it’s important to support the continued success of my community. I particularly enjoy volunteering at my daughters’ schools. I have held various positions on the Parent’s Advisory Council. Volunteered in all aspects of being a softball and volleyball Mom, and now involved in rowing. At each level with each girl we have adopted a “family in need” to help someone need to teach the girls about charity and giving back.
My family and I practice sound financial planning and feel that it benefits our overall well-being and sense of security.
